Key points:

  • Students clean their own rooms (custodians handle public areas only).
  • The college does not insure personal belongings — check a parent’s homeowner policy.
  • No curfew; use the front door and make sure it closes securely.
  • ID cards are non-transferable; carry your ID at all times and present it to any official on request; students entering halls between 2:00–6:30 a.m. must show ID to a Campus Police officer.
  • A guest may eat in the cafeteria only if paying by credit/debit — not just to sit with you; food may be carried out on reusable trays, but no supplies/equipment may be removed.
  • No credit/refund for missed meals (the missed-meal factor is built into the cost of campus living).
  • Cars must be registered with Campus Police; bicycles need not be registered but it’s wise to do so.
  • Damage responsibility falls on the resident(s); if the responsible party can’t be determined, the whole hall may share the cost.
  • Where do I get my mail:  All resident hall students receive their mail in the Student Center on the first floor (below the cafeteria). In order to receive mail or packages, please make sure to use the following information for the sender:
