Dining on Campus

PJC offers two great ways to eat on campus: a full-service dining hall for hot, freshly prepared meals, and a convenient grab-and-go store for snacks, drinks, and essentials between classes. Students living in the residence halls enjoy the convenience of a meal plan, and commuters and employees are always welcome too.

The Dragon’s Lair — Grab-and-Go Store & Paris Coffee

Need a snack, a coffee drink from Paris Coffee, or a quick bite on the way to class? The Dragon’s Lair is PJC’s on-campus grab-and-go spot that keeps you stocked with snacks, beverages, and everyday essentials without ever leaving campus — perfect for busy class days, late-night study sessions, and everything in between.

Paris Coffee at the Dragon’s Lair

PJC is proud to partner with Paris Coffee Shop, a local favorite that brings its handcrafted coffee right to campus. Inside the Dragon’s Lair, Paris Coffee runs a full coffee shop and a welcoming place to hang out — whether you’re grabbing a latte between classes, meeting up with friends, or settling in to study. It’s a great spot to slow down, recharge, and feel at home in the heart of campus.

The Dragon’s Den - All-you-can-eat dining hall

Located on the top floor of the Student Center, The Dragon’s Den — is the hub of campus life. It serves classic favorites, rotating daily specials, and a fresh salad bar, with plenty of seating to gather, recharge, and catch up with friends between classes.

Dining Room ID Card Policy

Your PJC student ID is your key to the McLemore Dining Room. Please keep these guidelines in mind:

  • All students must show their ID card to enter the McLemore Dining Room. Without it, you must retrieve your card before entering.
  • Only students with valid ID cards or paying guests are admitted — no one may enter just to sit and talk.
  • A student who leaves and returns during the same meal period will not be re-admitted.
  • Lost ID cards must be replaced promptly. Replacement cards are issued at the Advising & Counseling Center for a $50.00 fee.
  • If a card cannot be replaced before the next meal, see the Student Life Office to make arrangements.
