4 Lady Dragons get All-Conference honorable mentions

Ending a season that included several weeks ranked in the national top 20 community college teams in the nation, the Paris Junior College Lady Dragons basketball team had a record of 24-7 and 13-5 in conference.
"This year the Lady Dragons' performance and record wins drew national attention with the team ranking as high as 11th in the nation," said PJC Women's Basketball Coach Sean LeBeauf, "a historical first for the program this year."
As part of that success, four of the Lady Dragons received National Junior College Athletic Association All-Conference Honorable Mention: Chikilra Goodman and Yasmeen Thompson of Philadelphia, Penn., Bianca Hanna of Tallevast, Fla., and Kiera Oby of Baton Rouge, La.
"This is a big achievement for all the girls because Region XIV is considered the deepest conference in the country for NJCAA," LeBeauf said.
