Several Paris Junior College baseball team members were named to the NJCAA Region XIV East All Conference Team, a repeat performance for two of them.

Joining them was Thomas Jeffries, who tied for Freshman of the Year with Panola's Colby Price. Corey Murray was named First Team Designated Hitter and Ruben Rodriquez was named Second Team Second Base.
Hickey came to PJC from Granbury High School, and has signed to play with Tarleton State University. Hickey also received PJC's 2016 McLemore Cup, the award given to the top athlete from all PJC sports. The right handed pitcher was a freshman All Conference player, Texas-New Mexico Junior College All Star, leads the conference in ERA, second in conference in strikeouts, fourth in nation in wins, member of Phi Theta Kappa and is an Academic All Conference player.
Hickey was also co-winner of the 2016 Barney Bray Cup for baseball MVP with Moon, who graduated from Rockwall High School and has signed to play at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Moon was a Texas-New Mexico Junior College All Star, freshman All Conference player, member of Phi Theta Kappa, and was seventh in the nation for getting hit by pitches.
Murray is a sophomore who came to PJC from Legacy High School in Mansfield. Sophomore Rodriguez came to PJC from Eastlake High School in El Paso. Jeffries, a freshman, will be returning to the Dragons squad for the 2016-2017 season.
