Associate Degree Nursing students pinned May 12

Forty-seven Paris Junior College Associate Degree Nursing students received pins during ceremonies held at First Baptist Church in Paris Thursday, May 12. Amy Daba of Wylie, Texas, was given the Metamorphosis Award for exhibiting the most growth through the entire AD program. The Outstanding Clinical Student Award went to Micca Sheedy of Sulphur Springs, Texas. Krystal Echard of Caddo Mills, Texas, was selected for the Student's Choice Award. Meghan Glascock of Commerce, Texas, received the Academic Achievement Award for having the highest grade point average as well as the TNSA (Texas Nursing Students' Association) appreciation award for outstanding participation. Also receiving TNSA certificates were Mindy McKee of Caddo Mills, Texas, for serving as TNSA Historian and Jonnie Wombaker of Greenville, Texas, for serving as TNSA Secretary. Receiving perfect attendance certificates were Mckee, Wombaker, Nohelani Amosa of Paris, Texas; Dana Cope of Reno, Texas; and Janet Hurst of Sumner, Texas. This signifies that throughout the entire program these students had no absences or tardiness for class, clinicals or any scheduled nursing appointments.
