This position will promote, support, and coordinate the expansion of career pathways.
Applicant must Bachelor's degree in related field. Prior experience in Adult Education preferred. Computer and current technology/communication skills required. Willingness to work with “most in need,” “hardest to serve,” special populations and community service providers. Proven teaching ability and knowledge of the adult learner. Public speaking ability. Possess a sincere desire to help adults enter the college and/or workplace. Must have knowledge in computer skills, the Internet, operating technological equipment (projector, tablet, apps) and knowledge in Google/Microsoft Suite, CRM software, Zoom, WorkPlace, social media channels and other communication/data software. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and be insurable on college insurance. Willingness to travel throughout service area. Must be able to accommodate constant (80-100%) walking, sitting, standing, reaching, and keyboarding. Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
This position covers health insurance at 100% for employee. Additional optional coverages include dental, vision, AD&D, life insurance, and long- and short-term disability. Other benefits include retirement under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, accrued sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, and an employee reimbursement/dependent scholarship program. Health benefits require a 60-day employment period.
