Chamber Singers chosen to sing Anthem at Rangers game
Published or Revised April 05, 2005
The Paris Junior College Chamber Singers were one of more than 200 groups and soloists auditioning recently for a chance to sing the National Anthem at a Texas Rangers baseball game. Pat Fowzer, PJC Choral director, said the group performed well at Ameriquest Field, and within days was notified that they had won the opportunity to perform. The Chamber Singers will present the anthem during the Rangers first home stand on Saturday, April 16, for the 7 p.m. game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
