Chorale and chamber singers will deliver a free evening of traditional choral concert music, as well as music from the big screen at Paris Junior College on May 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ray Karrer Theater. "Our student choirs will be performing songs by American and English choral composers, including Mary Lynn Lightfoot, Mendelssohn, Sleeth/Strommen, Aaron Copeland, Greg Gilpin, Shaw, John Rutter, and Moses Hogan," said PJC Director of Choirs Philip Briggs. "We'll end the show with 'Cinemagic,' an arrangement of Hollywood's best movie magic. It will be an enjoyable evening." Admission to the concert is free and open to the public. The theater is located in the north end of the Administration Building. For more information contact Briggs at 903-782-0343 or music@parisjc.edu.
