PJC Regents receive clean audit opinion

The Paris Junior College Board of Regents was presented the annual ainancial report and audited financial statements Monday evening. Andy Reich with McClanahan Holmes presented the report, which included an unqualified or clean auditor's opinion. Reich stated that it had been the best year for the college financially that he could remember since he had been doing PJC's audits. Regents approved modifications to the Emergency Response Plan, which included changes to comply with the Clery Act and referenced the Dragon Alert emergency notification system. The 2012-2013 Academic Calendar was approved by the Regents, as was a $45 Testing Fee for the HESI Nursing Admissions Exam. The exam is part of the new admissions criteria for the nursing programs. During the president's report, Dr. Anglin noted that the college had been notified of preclearance of the redistricting plan by the Department of Justice. The Regents also approved the employment of Mitzi White as Director of Human Resources, effective Jan. 17, 2012.
