Dragons’ Taylor again Region 14 Player of the Week

Denison, Texas, native T.J. Taylor, a Paris Junior College basketball player, leaps above a defender to score in a recent game against Trinity Valley Community College at the Hunt Center. For the second time this season, Taylor was chosen as the NJCAA’s Region XIV Basketball Player of the Week.
After leading the Paris Junior College Dragons basketball team to two wins over Navarro and Bossier Parish colleges the week of Feb. 19-25, sophomore and Denison, Texas, native T.J. Taylor was again named NJCAA Region XIV player of the week.
"For him to get it for a second time is a tremendous honor," said Dragons head coach Chuck Taylor. "I'm very proud of him and his leadership of our team. I'm looking for special things from him during our upcoming regional tournament."
T.J. graduated from Denison High School, where he played for Coach Jody Bass.
