Dual Credit Coordinator

Responsibilities: This position is responsible for providing leadership for the coordination, and management of PJC’s Dual Credit program throughout our service delivery area.

Qualifications: Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred.  Knowledge of college admissions policies and procedures.  Ability to communicate effectively with potential dual credit students and parents to clearly identify program attributes and expectations.  Ability to oversee dual credit students and maintain accurate and correct record-keeping on their progress in the program.  Must be a strong student advocate with leadership abilities to lead and coordinate diverse education levels to plan and implement projects to achieve goals.  Ability to take charge of projects and to carry projects to completion with minimum supervision.  Excellent oral and written language skills, public relations skills, organizational skills, and communication skills.  Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Salary:  The annual salary range for this position is $62,000 to $67,000.

Fringe Benefits:  This position covers health insurance at 100% for employee.  Additional optional coverages include dental, vision, AD&D, life insurance, and long- and short-term disability.  Other benefits include retirement under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, accrued sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, and an employee reimbursement/dependent scholarship program.  Health benefits require a 60-day employment period.
