PJC’s fall 2006 enrollment at a record level
Published or Revised September 20, 2006
Enrollment at Paris Junior College took another leap this fall as a record 4,350 students entered classes. This is an increase of 86 students over enrollment last fall, and is nearly 200 more than in the fall of 2004 when 4,152 students were enrolled. Included in the student population are 782 high school students who are enrolled in dual credit courses at PJC. These students represent high schools throughout the PJC service area. Contact hour numbers, the representation of the number of classes in which students are enrolled, are also up slightly, from 977,392 hours last fall to 986,728 this year.
