Lady Dragons soccer player named to All Region team

In the inaugural season of Paris Junior College soccer, Lady Dragons team captain Morgan Flippen of Paris, Texas, has been named to the National Junior College Athletic Association All Region XIV team. "Morgan did a fantastic job for us and is a very talented player," said PJC Men's and Women's Soccer Coach Lance Noble. "More importantly she's a great teammate. The girls had a bit of a rough season, and Morgan was always the first to practice and last to leave, and she kept the peace. She gave her heart and soul and played every position." Though challenged by loss of players early in the season, the Lady Dragons still won three games and finished third in conference. "We're very proud of the girls for their conference finish," said Noble. "They worked very hard this year and were a very disciplined team. We're very excited about Morgan returning, and about next year's season and the direction of this program."
