Four Paris Junior College softball players participated in the Texas Junior College All-Star Game at Abilene Christian University recently. Players included Samantha Reynoso of Mesquite, Texas; Dara Hendon of Van, Texas; Audrey Farfan of Rockwall, Texas; and Jessica Branam of Irving, Texas. The Lady Dragons played in three games with 16 other top sophomore players from the National Junior College Athletic Association's Region 14 East conference. "Our kids played in each of the three games," said PJC Softball Coach Nicole Dickson. "Sam and Dara played the outfield. Audrey caught and played third base and Jessica played second base. All of the girls had solid at bats at the plate and hit the ball well this past weekend. "It was a great opportunity for PJC softball. The kids could showcase their talents to the four-year programs recruiting at the event and gain experience playing against the best athletes in the State of Texas at the NJCAA D1 level."
