Dragons’ Yasmin Fuller signs with Southern University

Paris Junior College Lady Dragons guard Yasmin Fuller, a native of Seattle, Wash., has signed to continue her basketball playing career with Southern University in Baton Rouge, La. Fuller graduated from Seattle's John F. Kennedy High School. "I'm excited to go back to [NCAA] Division I," said Fuller. "Being at PJC helped me a lot, and I like playing with Coach Sean." "Southern University is getting a very talented player," said PJC Athletic Director and Head Coach Sean LeBeauf. "By continuing her strides forward, she has a chance to be special." Fuller averaged 7.6 points per game and was 74 percent from the free throw line. The Lady Dragons had an exceptional season, ranking as high as 11th in the nation in NJCAA polls.
