Bianca Hanna, right, signs to continue her college basketball career at Texas A&M University — Commerce as Paris Junior College Women’s Basketball Coach and Athletic Director Sean LeBeauf looks on.

Tallevast, Fla., native and Paris Junior College Lady Dragons forward Bianca Hanna has signed to continue her basketball playing career with Texas A&M University — Commerce. Hanna graduated from Southeast High School. "My time at PJC has been good," Hanna said. "I met a lot of nice people in Paris, lots of nice teachers, and it's been a very good experience with Coach Sean and his coaching. "The coaches are very nice at Commerce. It's a nice facility, and they're all about helping you succeed, not just all about basketball. I'm looking forward to playing for their team, and good things are coming, hopefully." "Commerce is getting a diamond in the rough, the player we as coaches all love to have," said PJC Athletic Director and Women's Basketball Coach Sean LeBeauf. "Bianca is low-maintenance and big in heart. They're getting a special kid." Hanna averaged 9 points and 4 rebounds per game and was 75 percent from the free throw line. The Lady Dragons had an exceptional season, ranking as high as 11th in the nation in NJCAA polls.
