Hispanic Club raffle winners are announced

More than 300 raffle tickets were sold recently by the PJC Hispanic Club to benefit an upcoming Halloween Fiesta for Big Brothers - Big Sisters. The event — an evening of food and fun for the kids, complete with music, piñatas, a pumpkin toss and a mummy wrap and walk — will be held Thursday, Oct. 28, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the PJC Student Center ballroom. Winners of the raffle included: Susan Sanchez, XBox 360 HALO Reach; Bill Neely, XBox 360 HALO Reach poster; Bill Neely, XBox 360 HALO Reach beanie; Jean Schweers, $20 Walmart gift card; and Dianna Harvill, a soccer ball. Other upcoming club events include:

• A trip to the Dallas Museum of Art Nov. 5, for the Mexico 200 special exhibition. PJC bus leaves at 8 a.m., and the trip is open to all PJC students. Contact Kelli Ebel at 903-782-0312 for more details.
