Open house set for PJC Paris campus Aug. 18

To celebrate the full opening of both wings of the South Campus Residence Hall, as well as the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Science and Math Building, Paris Junior College will hold an open house on the Paris campus from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18. “Paris Junior College opens its doors to the community on Thursday to celebrate the full opening of our new South Campus Residence Hall and the groundbreaking for the new Science and Math Building,” said Dr. Pam Anglin, PJC president. “We’ll have architectural renderings of the new building on display, as well as refreshments. The entire campus is open for touring, and faculty and staff will be on hand to welcome visitors and answer questions.” The first stop for open house visitors will be the front foyer of the Administrative Building, on the northwest corner of the Paris campus. The groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 4:30 p.m., and the open house will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at all the major buildings on campus. For more information, call 903-785-7661.
