Paris Junior College baseball players Brewer Money, left, and Mathew Lusk, right, sign to continue their sport at the next level as PJC baseball coach Deron Clark looks on. Money will attend Lamar University in Beaumont and Lusk will attend Lubbock Christian University.
Two Paris Junior College baseball players, Mathew Lusk and Brewer Money, have signed to play on after PJC.
“We are very proud of these two players and greatly appreciate their commitment to our program,” said PJC baseball coach Deron Clark. “They will both deliver special skills as student athletes to their new programs.”
Lusk, son of Kelly and Schelli Lusk of Texarkana, Texas, has committed to attend Lubbock Christian University. He is a left-handed pitcher for the Dragons and attended Texas High School. He will appear from the bullpen this spring and offer a unique left-handed sidearm delivery in big situations.
Money, son of Kyle and Angie Money of Rockwall, Texas, has committed to attend Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He will be the fourth consecutive Dragon to transfer to that highly touted member of the Southland Conference. Money is a relief specialist from Rockwall High School who delivers a unique split finger pitch that creates a major problem for opposing offenses.
