The City of Paris’ pee wee cheer program for girls in grades three through six concluded their lessons led by the Paris Junior College cheerleaders on Oct. 8. PJC's cheer squad taught numerous moves and dances to the girls.
On Friday, Oct. 9, the cheerleaders and PJC mascot Pyro accompanied one of PJC's buses to the Big Wheel Expo at the Red River Valley Fair Grounds. The event, sponsored by Lamar County Head Start, allowed students to tour large and small vehicles used in the community to learn how they are used. The cheerleaders conducted tours of the bus and Pyro gave out hugs. A total of 12 classes were involved.
