Friday, August 19, 2016 marked the return of faculty to campus at Paris Junior College for the fall convocation.

As part of a day-long series of meetings and training, faculty and staff were recognized for longevity at the college. "PJC has always been, and continues to be, fortunate in the quality of people who work for our students," said PJC President Dr. Pam Anglin. "It's a pleasure to recognize them."

Shown at top, from left, ten-year recognition pins went to Academic Advisor Daniel Parham, Vice President of Workforce Education John Spradling, Speech Instructor Paul May, Academic Advisor Tasha Whitaker, Sociology Instructor Jon Rutherford, Educational Talent Search Advisor Jaci Shovan, Carpenter & Building Mechanic Gerald Ringwald, and PJC - Sulphur Springs Center Office Manager Linda Meier.

Receiving pins for 15 years of service at PJC (second from top, from left) were Mathematics Instructor Chastity Woodson, Educational Opportunity Center Advisor Karen Ballard, Licensed Vocational Nursing Instructor Linda Utley, Art Instructor Susan Moore, Assistant to the Student Learning Vice President Julie Sugg, Mathematics Instructor John Fornof, and Library Director Joe Jackson.

Honored for 20 years of service at PJC were, at center from left, History Instructor Matt White, Off Campus Librarian Carl Covert, Educational Opportunity Center Advisor Jackie Mitchell, Custodian Rudy Rodriguez, Psychology Instructor Linda Miles, and TRIO Computer Information Services Coordinator Robert Spain.

Fourth from top are those recognized for twenty-five years, from left, Library Services Supervisor Shirley Bridges, Financial Aid Director Linda Slawson, Electrician Roger Powell, and Associate Vice President for Student Access and Success Sheila Reece. At bottom, Information Technology Computer Programmer Elaine Anderson (at left) received her pin for 30 years of service, and Chemistry Instructor Don Kosterman and Government Instructor Betty Mills were awarded pins for 45 years at PJC by Dr. Anglin (center).
