“The first day we played okay," said PJC Golf Coach David Johnson. "I thought we competed well on the second day and played like we are capable of playing. We have to connect the two days together with consistent play in order to win golf tournaments. Overall I thought we made good strides this week. We played against two really good teams and see where we stand when we compete against the best. The freshmen are getting some good experience being in the last groups early this year. This will help them become better players in the future. I am really proud of the way we handled ourselves on the course. It’s a pleasure to see positive attitudes and good decision making from all the guys.”
The Dragons see action next in two weeks at the Twin Rivers Golf Club in Waco, Oct. 25-27.
