PJC holds 100th Anniversary Picnic Bash Tuesday

Published or Revised September 05, 2024

The first official celebration for Paris Junior College's 100th Anniversary is Tuesday, September 10 with a Picnic Bash. The free event will be held on the Math & Science Building lawn from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., stretching down the hill to the Rheudasil Learning Center.

The public is invited to join PJC students, faculty and staff for a free cookout and many activities for families with children to enjoy.

"We've lined up a fantastic afternoon filled with activities," said PJC Institutional Advancement and Alumni Affairs Director Baleigh McCoin, "including bounce houses, face painting, a DJ, free food, Kona Ice, Paris Coffee and more. As part of our celebration, we will have a historical display set up in the Math and Science Building. This will be a wonderful opportunity for our community to reflect on our rich history."

Commemorative t-shirts will be available for sale. All parking lots will be open and the event may be accessed from all entry points to the PJC campus at 2400 Clarksville Street.

"We want everyone in the community to join in on the fun,!" McCoin said.
