Led by Student Services, Paris Junior College Homecoming festivities kick off at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, with the Homecoming Parade which starts at the Hunt Center, proceeds up Clarksville Street to 12th S.E. and north to Lamar Avenue to circle the Plaza and return back down Clarksville Street to the campus.
Friday, Nov. 4, PJC President Dr. Pam Anglin will host alumni, guests and friends of the College at the annual President’s Reception in the McLemore Student Center Ballroom from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday features the Distinguished Alumni Award Luncheon honoring Dr. John A. Burke at Love Civic Center which will begin at 11:30 a.m. At 2:30 p.m., Jack Ashmore, Dr. Claude Caffee, R. Keith Drummond, and Jonathan Jordan will be inducted into the PJC Academic Hall of Honor in the Student Center Ballroom. Basketball action fires up in the Hunt Center at 4 p.m. as the women play Collin College; the men play Jarvis Christian College JV team at 6 p.m. Crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen will take place during half time of the men’s game.
