PJC introduces new music options with the spring semester

Paris Junior College will offer new opportunities to perform either with an instrumental ensemble or a vocal choir during the spring semester. Interested students will need to audition during the second week of January. The music ensemble class will introduce participants to the study of instrumental music through rehearsal and performance of brass, woodwind, jazz/rock and wind ensembles. The vocal choir will explore genres such as contemporary gospel music. Auditions will be set up during the week of Jan. 12. To participate and be eligible for a scholarship, students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and enroll in 15 hours for the spring semester.
