PJC offers free Christmas concert

The Paris Junior College Choir will perform traditional Christmas carols and hymns in a free concert, “A PJC Christmas,” Monday, Dec. 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ray E. Karrer Theater. New this year will be an audience singalong.
“We’re offering Christmas favorites, new and old, that everyone loves=- to hear,” said PJC Music Instructor Dr. Michael Holderer. “We know it’s a lot of fun for the audience to join in and share the Christmas spirit. This will be a special treat for families with children and everyone who enjoys these songs.”
Slated to be performed are: “Deck the Halls,” “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Away in a Manger,” “O Christmas Tree,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Jolly Old St. Nicholas,” “One Horse Open Sleigh,” “Up on the Housetop,” “Silent Night,” “Holly, Jolly, Christmas,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
PJC Choir Members include Ethan Brown, Saveuyon Brown, Antavius Draughn, Crystal Finney, Eden Godwin, Alex Greer, Adrian Hobbs, Raven Maxwell, Sarah Stogner-Dickinson, and Kala Vickers.
