PJC Receives Joey Howard Endowed Paramedic Scholarship

Justin Watson, Paris Emergency Medical Services/Paramedic signed paperwork to make the first deposit on behalf of co-workers and friends of the late paramedic Joey Howard, a 12-year Paris EMS veteran who lost his life in an accident in October, 2013. Looking on was Howard's widow, Cathy.
Watson and co-worker Lindsay Goodson, began the effort to honor the memory of Howard through an endowed scholarship for the paramedic program at PJC.
Donations to the Howard Paramedic Endowment may be made to the Paris Junior College Endowment Fund, c/o Derald Bulls, 2400 Clarksville Street, Paris, TX 75460. Paris EMS staff members have raised over $1,300 toward the endowment to date.
