PJC to hold opening reception for fall student art exhibit

The Paris Junior College Art Department will sponsor a reception on Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the opening of the annual fall student art exhibition in the Foyer Gallery.
Work will be presented from Art Appreciation courses and three studio classes, Drawing I, Design I, and Photography. Juried awards will be presented in each studio category. This semester’s juror is Frances Robinson, a local artist and President of the Art Study Club, which meets at PJC and was founded in 1949.
The public is invited to this free event, where refreshments will be served. The exhibitions are on view from November 14 to December 15 during gallery hours, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Foyer Gallery is located in Building 14 on the southeast corner of the Paris campus.
