PJC to hold Veteran’s Memorial Service on Friday

A special observance of Veteran's Day will be held Friday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. in the DeShong Chapel on the Paris Junior College campus. The PJC Chamber Singers will present "An Expression of Gratitude" by David Schwoebel, an arrangement of "America the Beautiful" and a solo by Trent Little called "Bring Him Home" from the musical "Les Miserable." The program also features a reading of the names of Paris Junior College students who lost their lives during wartime to preserve our freedom. The ceremony will conclude with the laying of a wreath at the War Memorial on campus by current students who are military veterans. The public is invited to attend the ceremonies.
