Softball players make All Region, All Conference

The Paris Junior College softball team ended its season on a high note with several players making the NJCAA All-Region and All-Conference teams. Named to the NJCAA Region XIV Eastern All Conference First Team were pitcher Alyssa Nisperos of San Diego, Calif.; infielders Sarah Long of Rockwall, Texas, and Tiffany Kenney of Garland, Texas; outfielders Lauren Smith of Waxahachie, Texas, and Jessica Viramontez of Wichita, Kan.; and designated hitter/utility player Emily Racicot of Longview, Texas. Making the All Conference Second Team were catcher Kodie Garner of Garland and infielder Ashley Endsley of Paris, Texas. Making the Region XIV All Region First Team were Smith, Viramontez and Long, and the Second Team were Nisperos and Racicot.
