Two Paris Junior College Dragons basketball players signed Wednesday to continue their playing careers at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, and Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. "These are good young men," said PJC Head Basketball Coach Chuck Taylor. "We're proud to have them as part of our Dragon family. We have unfinished business here. Everyone wants to finish their last game with a win, and I like my chances with these young men." Cornelius Cammack, a sophomore from Austin, Texas, signed with Abilene Christian, and T.J. Taylor, sophomore from Denison, Texas, signed with Marquette. "Cornelius is in his second year with the program," said Taylor. "ACU Coach Golding is getting a fantastic young man. At 6'5" and 230 pounds, he can not only play post, but defend on the perimeter, as well. He has a high skill set and a high basketball IQ. "Coach Williams at Marquette is not only getting a great player but a great kid with T.J.," Taylor continued. "He's had a long journey back from injuries, but he's 100 percent now and working hard every day. He's a versatile guard who can play a number of positions, shoots well and fits their style of play very well. We're looking forward to his successful career at Marquette. "They will be sorely missed, but will have tremendous careers at both institutions."
