S. Garland’s Vasquez to play Dragons volleyball
Published or Revised May 31, 2007
Kaitlin Vasquez, a 5-foot, 10-inch outside hitter and defensive specialist, has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career with Paris Junior College's Lady Dragons in the fall. The South Garland High School graduate was named the 2006 South Garland MVP, and won the "Best Offense" title at South Garland in 2005. Vasquez was also named to the First Team All-District in both 2004 and 2005. "I'm very excited to have Kaitlin as part of this up-and-coming program," said PJC Head Volleyball Coach Justin Maness. "She will bring experience to the outside position. She is a versatile hitter who can mix it up at the net, and will mesh well with the returners and newcomers this next season."
