Ginna Walker resigns from Board of Regents
Published or Revised October 26, 2005
Ginna Walker, a member of the Paris Junior College Board of Regents, has resigned from the board effective Oct. 31. Walker, in her letter of resignation, stated that the reason for her resignation is that she has moved from her elected district to another part of Paris. "I have enjoyed so much serving on the board and working with the other board members and all of the people at the college," said Walker, a PJC alumna. Walker was elected in May 2003 to a six-year term on the Board of Regents from Place 5. The board will discuss the balance of the board position at its November meeting. PJC President Dr. Pamela Anglin said she regretted that Ms. Walker had to resign because of her move. "She has been a valued member of the Board of Regents, a very good advocate for the college," she said.
