Wascovich photographs on exhibit at PJC

The Fine Arts Department at Paris Junior College is hosting an exhibition of photographs by Vaughn Wascovich, guest artist from the Department of Art at Texas A&M University — Commerce. The exhibit is on display in the Foyer Gallery of the Visual Arts Building on the Paris Junior College campus. The exhibit runs through April 23. The photos may be viewed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday. Wascovich is currently assistant professor of photography at TAMU-C, having also taught at the University of Missouri and Columbia College Chicago. Wascovich is a fine-art photographer with an extensive exhibition record and over 20 years experience as a commercial photographer and producer. He has a broad-based visual technology background, utilizing a variety of film and video formats, both analog and digital. Most recently he was awarded a Gary B. Fritz Imagemaker Award from the Society of Photographic Educators, and has participated in more than 70 juried art exhibitions. The public is invited to view the exhibit.
