Yulefeste scheduled for Dec. 5-6

The Lord, the Lady and the rest of the court will be on hand at Yulefeste, a special Christmas presentation of dinner and entertainment at Paris Junior College. The event will be held Dec. 5 and 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the PJC Ballroom. Among the Yulefeste royalty, from left, are Michael Moore, April Black, Amanda Pearson and Chace Holt.
Yulefeste, a biannual Christmas presentation by the Paris Junior College Division of Fine Arts, will come to life on the evenings of Dec. 5 and 6 in the PJC Ballroom.
This exciting Renaissance Dinner Theatre, which will begin each evening at 6:30 p.m., is a celebration of the yuletide season in a Renaissance setting featuring a bountiful five-course banquet with continuous entertainment of singing, dancing, instrumental features and dramatic readings. From the brass fanfares to the wassail toast to the court jesters, this wonderful evening will reign supreme in your family's holiday memories for the whole year.
As in the past, the PJC Chamber Singers will bring to life many of your favorite Christmas songs. There will also be solo performances throughout the evening. Another great tradition of the evening is the presentation of Christmas tales read in prose form by the PJC Reader's Theatre members.
All participants will be decked out in their finest Renaissance costumes, including the Lord and Lady, who will welcome everyone to this fine event that has been termed in the past "the best kept secret in Paris."
Choral Director Pat Fowzer invites the public to come out and enjoy all of the outstanding talent that the Paris Junior College Division of Fine Arts has to offer. Tickets are $12.50 per person. Reservations can be made by phoning 903-782-0242 or 903-782-0343.
