Responsibilities: This position will plan, coordinate and supervise all components of the athletic training program for student-athletes. Provide athletic training in the form of health care that includes principles and methods for managing and treating athletic injuries for student-athletes.

Qualifications: Applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree; a valid Athletic Trainer license from Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR); current certifications for Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and injury prevention. Ability to provide emergency care and rehabilitation for student-athlete injuries. Ability to instruct and supervise student-athletes and assistants. Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: The annual salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000.

Fringe Benefits: This position covers health insurance at 100% for employee. Additional optional coverages include dental, vision, AD&D, life insurance, and long- and short-term disability. Other benefits include retirement under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, accrued sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, and an employee reimbursement/dependent scholarship program. Health benefits require a 60-day employment period.
