Student Success Coach
Responsibilities: This position will provide academic advising, guidance and career services as assigned by the Director of Advising and Counseling.
Qualifications: Applicant must have a Master’s degree required. Experience in academic advising or a retention background in student services and working with underserved student populations. Licensed professional counseling valued. Computer skills required. Ability to communication effectively, both orally and in writing. Demonstrates knowledge of subject matter by being familiar with current research and developments in the area of specialty. Demonstrates leadership qualities.
Salary: The minimum annual salary for this position is $49,753.00 and the actual starting salary will be dependent upon education and experience of the chosen candidate.
Fringe Benefits: This position covers health insurance at 100% for employee. Additional optional coverages include dental, vision, AD&D, life insurance, and long- and short-term disability. Other benefits include retirement under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, accrued sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, and an employee reimbursement/dependent scholarship program. Health benefits require a 60-day employment period.
