Is EOC the same as Financial Aid?
No. EOC helps you apply for financial aid and college; it doesn’t award aid. Services are free through TRIO funding.

Do I have to enroll at PJC?
No. We’ll help you find the best-fit college or training program—PJC or elsewhere.

Can EOC help if I already started college?
Yes—especially if you paused or want to transfer back in.

What if I work full-time?
Ask for virtual or after-hours appointments.

EOC is one of the Federal TRIO Programs that support adults from disadvantaged backgrounds to access and succeed in postsecondary education. The program focuses on admissions counseling, financial aid literacy, and application assistance to increase adult enrollment in college or training.

The Educational Opportunity Center is funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Services are free to participants.
