The ACT is a national college admissions exam that measures knowledge and skills in English, mathematics, reading, and science, with an optional writing section. Many universities and scholarship programs require ACT scores as part of the application process.

To register for the ACT for the first time, visit www.actstudent.org.

When registering, be sure to select Paris Junior College as your testing location.

Test Day Reminders

On the day of your test, you must bring:

  • Your ACT admission ticket

  • Acceptable photo ID (see ACT ID requirements)

  • Approved calculator (optional, for math section)

  • #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)

Arrive early—late arrivals may not be admitted. No cell phones or electronic devices are allowed in the testing room.
